Eva Baker is a Distinguished Research Professor at UCLA where she directs UCLA’s Center for the Study of Evaluation (CSE), and directs the Center for Research on Evaluation, Standards, and Student Testing (CRESST), a project of which is the Center for Advanced Technology in Schools (CATS). She was the 2010 President of the World Educational Research Association, and was President of the American Educational Research Association in 2007. She is a member of the National Academy of Education. Dr. Baker also co-chaired the committee that produced Standards for Educational and Psychological Testing published in 1999.
