2018, CREATE Community Service Project

The CREATE Graduate Student Committee hosted the first-annual community service project at the 27th Annual CREATE Conference in Williamsburg, Virginia in 2018. This Community Service Project served International Community School (ISC) in Decatur, Georgia. ISC serves refugee, immigrant and local children representing more than 30 nationalities and speaking 25 languages. CREATE Conference attendees donated books and supplies from an Amazon Wishlist to help enhance the school's ESOL library. For the CREATE Graduate Student Committee's first-ever Community Service Project, we teamed up with International Community School in Decatur, GA to help ESOL students with access to high quality print and audio books. You can purchase a book for their classroom library off of the Amazon wish list.
