The Consortium for Research on Educational Assessment and Teaching Effectiveness (CREATE) seeks the organization's next leaders. Nominees must be CREATE members. Some travel is required.


CREATE is searching for candidates for the role of President-Elect. The person filling this position serves as a member of the Board of Directors while President-Elect, 2021-2022 and is the incoming President of CREATE for 2022-2023, followed by a term as Past President for 2023-2024.


Additionally, candidates are sought for four openings for Board of Directors for a two-year term, 2021-2023; one opening to complete the last year of the 2020-2022 term; and one graduate student for a two-year term, 2021-2023. 


In the nomination and appointment of CREATE members to leadership positions in the Consortium, diversity of membership is a most important consideration. Such diversity includes gender, ethnicity, type of employee organization, and geographic region. 


Nominate a peer or self-nominate for a volunteer leadership role on CREATE's Board of Directors to shape the future. 

Please note:

After nominations close on September 27th, the vetting process begins.

By October 1st, nominees who make it through the vetting process will receive an email inviting the nominee to respond to a prompt seeking to know why the nominee would like to join the CREATE Board of Directors, submit a Curriculum Vitae, bio (up to 150 words) and photograph for the ballot. These are due to the Board of Directors by October 15th. Electronic ballots and applicant information will be available on October 18th when electronic voting begins.
